Configure your OpenTelemetry (OTel) instrumented system so that you can explore OTel-collected metrics, traces, and logs all in Datadog.
Datadog can collect and visualize data from OTel instrumented systems, enabling seamless monitoring and analysis. This course provides a hands-on experience to help you integrate OTel with Datadog. You'll learn how to configure OTel to export metrics, traces, and logs to Datadog, and explore the collected data within the platform. This will empower you to gain insights and make informed decisions based on observability data.
By the end of this course, you'll be able to do the following:
This course is designed for developers and SREs working on OTel configured applications who are familiar with monitoring basics such as metrics, logs, and traces.
Before taking this course you should know:
An internet-connected computer with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox installed.
